Gecko SA offers a range of evidence-informed programs designed to strengthen emotional intelligence, social skills, confidence, and well-being. These supports can be delivered individually or in small groups, either at home, in the community, or within educational settings (with permission).

Therapeutic Doll Play
These programs help children understand feelings, build resilience, develop communication skills, and learn strategies for managing big emotions. Ideal for Pre-Kindy to Year 6, sessions are tailored to each child’s developmental needs.

Lego-Based Therapy – “Gecko Build”
Gecko Build is a structured Lego-based therapy program for participants aged 6 through to adulthood. Using collaborative building, problem-solving, and guided communication, participants develop:

“What’s the Buzz?”
What’s the Buzz? is an engaging small-group social skills program for participants aged 6 to 18. It teaches practical skills for navigating friendships, communication, emotions, and everyday social situations. This program is ideal for children and young people needing structured support in understanding social cues and building positive peer relationships.

SHINE SA – Relationships & Sexual Health Education
Gecko SA also offers SHINE SA-aligned sexual health and respectful relationships education, delivered in a developmentally appropriate and trauma-informed manner. These sessions support participants to understand safety, boundaries, consent, healthy friendships, and personal development.

Gecko SA is proud to offer service by a Developmental Educator who travels to the region fortnightly.
